Sodium hyaluronate is a well-known polysaccharide produced naturally in the human body, and the areas of application are numerous. The R&D unit works on improving existing products and ensuring that they are of the highest possible quality. The unit also specialises in sodium hyaluronate and various projects and its work focuses chiefly on developing new products in new areas. Today there are Bohus BioTech products in the process of being registered and there are also new projects in the pipeline.

The aim of the R&D unit is to develop new and improved products for existing and new customers.
